Modern Samsung batteries are non-user-removable — sealed under the back panel with adhesive. Replacement involves heating the back glass to soften the adhesive, removing the panel carefully without cracking it, disconnecting the battery flex, replacing the cell, and resealing with new adhesive. For current Galaxy S, Note, Z Fold, and Z Flip models we use Samsung Service Pack batteries — the same OEM cells Samsung's own service centres use. For older Galaxies where Samsung no longer supplies parts, we use high-quality matched-spec replacement cells from established suppliers. We explain both options before fitting.
Yes — and properly. A worn battery is one of the main reasons fast charging slows down over time. With a fresh cell fitted and the battery management chip recalibrated, Samsung's 25W / 45W / Super Fast Charging works to full spec again.
For flagship Galaxies with IP67 or IP68 ratings (S series, Note, Z series), we reseal the back panel with fresh adhesive that restores the original water resistance rating. Samsung doesn't guarantee IP ratings after any repair, but our standard process preserves it. For A-series and older models that aren't rated, no change.
