Apple Independent Repair Provider in Auckland — Common Questions

Apple's IRP programme gives independent repair shops access to genuine Apple parts, tools, training, and diagnostic software. We agreed to follow Apple's repair standards in exchange for that access — so the repair you get from us is materially the same as an Apple Store repair.

Yes, for the repairs where it matters — displays, batteries, cameras, Face ID modules. Genuine Apple parts are paired with the device using Apple's System Configuration tool so features like True Tone and battery health reporting keep working. For older devices where Apple no longer supplies parts we use high-quality aftermarket.

Repairs performed by an Apple Independent Repair Provider do not void AppleCare or Apple's hardware warranty. If you're still inside AppleCare we'll often suggest going through Apple directly for no-cost service — we'll be upfront about which option is better for you.

Yes — screen replacement and battery service on most Apple Watch models. Apple Watches are very tightly assembled and use adhesive-heavy construction, so turnaround is usually 3 to 5 business days. Walk in or call for a quote specific to your model.

AirPod earbuds themselves are sealed and not economical to repair — we'll be honest about that. AirPod cases, however, can be serviced for battery issues or charging port damage. Bring them in and we'll give you a straight answer on whether a repair makes sense.

Yes — as an Apple IRP we use Apple Service Toolkit (AST) and Apple GSX for diagnostics. That means we can run the same tests an Apple Store does, identify the exact failed component, and order the right part the first time rather than guessing.
