A "MacBook screen" is actually a full display assembly — top glass, panel, hinge, antenna cabling, ambient sensor, camera, and clutch cover bonded into a sealed lid. Apple sells the entire lid as a single service part, which is why MacBook display repairs are more involved than swapping a phone screen.
Modern MacBooks ship with three display tiers — Retina (Air through M3), Liquid Retina (entry-level Pro and 13-inch), and Liquid Retina XDR mini-LED (Pro 14-inch and 16-inch from 2021 onward). ProMotion 120Hz and True Tone work correctly only when the new display is paired to the logic board using Apple's diagnostic tool — we use that tool on every repair.

Yes — for every MacBook Air and Pro from the M1 era onward, plus most Intel-era models still in use, we can replace the full display assembly. Apple sells the assembly as a single service part. The part is the most expensive component, but a replacement is still cheaper than a new MacBook and you keep your existing battery, keyboard, and data.
Most MacBook display replacements turn around in 2 to 4 business days once the part arrives. We stock common Air and 13-inch Pro displays for same-week service; mini-LED 14-inch and 16-inch Pro displays are special-order and take a few extra days. We'll give you a firm date at quote time.

Yes — we pair every new MacBook display using Apple's diagnostic tool, so True Tone, ProMotion 120Hz, the True Tone ambient sensor, and the FaceTime camera all continue to work normally. Third-party MacBook displays usually disable True Tone permanently.
Yes — that's "Flexgate", a known 2016-2017 MacBook Pro defect where the display backlight cable wears out from the hinge. We've replaced hundreds of these. Full lid assembly replacement is the permanent fix; for some models a cable-only repair is possible. Bring it in for a diagnostic.
Almost always, yes. A working MacBook with a cracked screen still has years of life left.
